せむしのこうま

私は小さい頃 見たこともないのになぜか馬が好きで
幼稚園の頃は「大きくなったら馬になりたい」
というほど大好きでした
その頃描いていた絵にも馬がよく登場しています
「せむしのこうま」は今でもお気に入りの一冊です

今日の絵は銅版画です
エッチングで5分つけておいたものに水彩で色をつけました
もうちょっと水彩が　ほっこりなかんじにならんかしら
全体的にももっと　あたまのなかでは　こんなかんじ！
というのがあるんだけど　なんかちょっとちがう・・・
むつかしいな〜

シーチングという布にもプレスしてみたけどうまく写りませんでした
先生曰く
・線が細くてインクが足りない
・布が乾いてしまってた
・布がもっと薄いほうがいいかも

了解でっす
上の二つに注意して も一回シーチングでやってみよー
洋裁では表に使うような布ではなくて裏方的な布なのですが
この布の素朴なかんじがとっても好きなのです
うまく写れば　きっとすごくすてきに違いない！

今　やりたかったことをひとつづつ　大切にやっていっています
今までやりたかったことや　気になっていたことを　ぜーんぶ

かたくからまっていた糸が　はらりはらりとほどけていっているようで
すごく気持ちがいいのです　すべてがきらきらしていて
毎日がすごく幸せです

初めての遠方で　慣れないことも多々あり　バタバタでしたが
素敵な出会いがたくさんあり　すごくいい経験になりました

What a nice idea to make people relax happy. :)

みみずく

銅版で また鳥をやろうと思い
フクロウを描いていたら先生が
「なんや 鳥が好きなんかー」
と 準備室からミミズクの剥製を出してきてくれました

ハトよりふたまわりくらい小さい鳥が
木の上でキョーツケしています

先生は小さいころ飼っていたことがあるらしく
「カエルつかまえて やっとった」
と言ってたので　そんなミミズクを描いたら　大絶賛してくれました
「この虫くわえてるの　おもろいやないか！
これは　すごくいい　動きがある
白ぬきしてるところが　白やけど　
ほかのところの白と違う色にみえるだろ
そういうとこ　注意しながら描くと　いいよ
この鳥は　美術的にすごくいい　うん
前のんからしたら　すごい進歩やぞ！」

「前のん」とは豆の上の三人組です

わたしは先生と　偶然同窓生なのですが　そんなこと言いだせず
「えっ　ほんとですか〜　うれしいー」
と素直にうれしくて　喜びつつも心のなかで
（でも　また先生を大爆笑させてしまう可能性大です・・・）
と思ったのでした
ほめられるのは　いくつになってもうれしいです　:)

In a deep midnight like at the bottom of the sea,
so many colourful birds appeared in my dream.
I drew them down as soon as I awoke before I forgot the scenery.

アジサイ

庭に青いアジサイが咲きました
日に日に色が深くなります

世にも綺麗な色なので
久しぶりにデッサンがしたくなって
描いてみました
が 細部がなかなかすすみません
もっともっと　ふわっとしていて綺麗なのにな

うーん　お日さまが沈んだので続きは明日にします

わたしはどちらかというとH系の硬めのえんぴつで
シャリシャリ描くのが好きです
その反面パステルや6Bとかで ぐわっ と描くのにも憧れます

Blue hydorangeas are blooming in my garden now.
The colour is beautifully getting deep day by day. The beauties really made me put them on my sketch book. It's been for long time since I did detail drawing last time though I couldn't stop myself drawing them. But in the same time they were too beautihul so it's very hard to draw the atomosphere down completely with my tecnique. I need practice more every day. There is no shortern way to impove. ;)





絵ばっかり描いて遊んでくれないので

My sweet dog, Hannah. She does't like my drawing coz she always want's to play with me. This time she gets sulky and began to gnaw a little brunch. Cute anyway. ;)

A little mantis fell down on me.
He was looking at me curiously like who met Galliver. :)

BIRDS

個展がはじまりました
大阪の天満にある14th moonさんのMANIFESTO GALLERYです

My illustration exhibition have got started at MANIFESTO GALLERY in Tenma, Osaka.
This is my first show in Osaka so I'm a little nervous though really happy to have the opportunity in Osaka where is my second home town. Some of my friends have already come to see me and my works. Thank you all! :) Also I could meet some great artists and got their opinions. This is great experience that I couldn't have ever before. I do apprriciated it and knew this is very very first step to the great long journey. :) Thank you again my friends who always support and encourage me!

ガクブチに ちょっと傷がついてしまったので

Peaceful Sunday.
I hurted my frame alittle by accident so I repaired it on my beranda.
I like DIY like this and the scenery better than I thought.
Suddenly it started rainning. As the weather forcast said the rain season has come already in Japan. After the rain season real summer will get started. I can't wait its arrival. :)

lion midnight

がおー

静かな静かな 深い夜

暗闇のなかで わたしがほえた

ライオンはちょっとムッとする


動物園にいきたい
絶対いくよ！



A calm calm midnight.
Something roared in the deep darkness.
That was me not a lion.
The lion was annoyed my roaring before him. ;p

I really want to go to the zoo.
I know I really should!

ドライ・ポイント

銅版画作品です
下絵が仕上がった時点で　先生大爆笑

いや　発想がね　いい　なんともいえず　のどかーなかんじでね

といいつつ　まだ笑っている・・・
たぶん　左はしのヒトでしょう　
わたしも自分で　笑けてきたもの　ははは

まだまだこれから　ぐぐっと笑っていただきましょう　ふふふ

線の太さがところどころ違うのは　ドライポイントという技法で
線を彫ったふちに微妙にインクが多くついているからです

次回はこの太線をなくしてすっきり
エッチングという技法で　プレスします

あーしかし　銅板は線が美しくでてすきです
なんともいえない深い雰囲気も　たまりません


This is a test piece of etching done with drypoint.
When I finished the rough design my teacher burst into a laugh. He said 'Really interesting! Very cheerful and peaceful!' still laughing. Think it's because of the bird on the left? It's ok, this is my style. I want people to feel happiness from my works so I'm really happy! And I couldn't help laughing neither, Haha! I'll make you smile more and more from now on! :)

With the drypoint tecnique you can make difference of line thickness. Depends on the strength to scrach you can make the edge of line to have a little bit more ink partly. It's also effective to make lines soft like drawn on cotton cloth. I DO love etching lines! Very delicate, smooth and beautiful. Just amazing way for me. I'm addicted to the great depth they have.

I'll have my studio and press roll soon. And I'm also learning tecniques from great teachers now. My life as an artist is beginning. My dream comes true at last. I can't stop feeling it's fate and really appriciate all the people and things around me. Thank you so much all, I wouldn't be here without you. :)

アトリエの先生が言っていた


先生はなー おまえたちに一流になってほしい

芸術家としてだけじゃなくて

人として一流になってほしい

私はステッドラーのえんぴつじゃないと
デッサンなんかできないわ

なんて言うようにはなってほしくない


怖くて厳しかったけど
みんなファンだった

風の便りで先生を辞められて
家業のお寺を継がれたと聞いた

今もお元気にされているでしょうか

いろんなことが昨日のことのように
おもいだされます



'Be a top artist.'

When I was learning drawing at art school my teacher used to say so. He was really strict and the lesson was so hard but I respected him from my heart.

'Remenber, be a real one as a person not only as an artist.
Do not be an artist like who always cares their pencil's brand name.'

Sometimes I remember his precious words still now as if it was yesterday.

Now my head and room are filled with mass of birds just like a bird sanctuary...

空を飛ぶのに 遠慮なんていらないのです

籠からでたら あとは飛ぶだけです

飛んでいくのです

遠い遠い 昔から知っている

まだ見たことのないところへ


Throw the cage away.
Time has come. You never need to hesitate to go.

ウェルカム

ちょっとしたきっかけがあり　ウェルカムボードを描いた
ブライダル以外の〜　とのことで　
見本的なことに使うだけで急ぎだったので　ささっと仕上げたのだけど
最近の自分の好きなかんじで　とりゃーっ　と

どうでしょう
線対称が流行っているなー　私の中

出来上がってみると　くまさんのかんじ好みです
もう少し字がサワヤカでもよかったな？
あと猫の足が　気に入ってます

ウルトラ Tシャツ

ウルトラマンが　大好きな甥っ子に
ウルトラマンのTシャツを　作りました
みなさん　お気づきのとおり　超アナログ多色刷りでございます＾＾
はんケシくんって　便利だな〜（笑）
すごく喜んでくれて　すぐ「着ゆ、着ゆ」って
あー　作りがいがあるわー　おばバカ度増すわー

I made a cartoon T-shirt for my sweet nephew who really loves the charactor 'Ultra-man'. I made it with super analogue polychrome printing you know... eraser stamp! It's very useful! I love it. ;) He liked the T-shirt so much and said 'I wear this, I wear this!' as soon as I gave it to him. I'm really happy that he liked it and already thinking about next item. :)

きのこ の ケーキ

最近　毎週ケーキを焼いている
忙しくて　あたまがいっぱいなときこそ
こーいうことは大事なのです！
そうそう　無になって　粉ふるってるときなんかに
いい考えが　うかんだりね　言い訳？ははは

まさにきのこの山のような　きのこだらけの楽しいケーキができました
今度はたけのこにしてみよっかー？
いろんなものがのってる　パフェみたいなケーキとか　すてきだな
パフェってフランス語で　“完璧”って意味なんだって　パーフェクト
なんてすばらしい名前なんだろう　ぴったりやんか
ちなみにミルフィーユは　“千枚の葉っぱ”
シュークリームは　シュー・ア・ラ・クリームで　“クリームの入ったキャベツ”
モンブランは　“白い山”
このネーミング　おしゃれすぎて　あたまのなかで何回もぐるぐるまわる
じゃあ　このケーキは　モンシャンピノンで　“きのこの山”　やね　
音が　すごくかわいい！
　
ケーキを焼くと　きまって　やー君は言います
「ハッピバースデしよっ」
それで毎週　おたんじょう会です



I make a cake every week lately.
Things still has been heitic though things like this are very important at the time like now. It sometimes brings me good ideas especially when I let my mind drift. :)
Mmm? Why mushrooms are on today's cake??
Oh my! It was my sweet nephew... He made it very fun "mushroom cake" as my good assistant.
Shall we make a cake with lots of fruits and sweets like a parfait?
I heard "parfait" means "perfect" in French. What a good name! That IS perfect.
French sweet's names are really pretty. "Mille-feuille" means "a thousand leaves", "chou a la creme" is "cabbagge with cream" and "mon blanc" is "white moutain". These names are too nice to forget. :)
Then our cake "mushroom mountain" is "mon champignon". The sound is so cute. :)
When I make a cake, my nephew always says "Let's sing a birthday song!" so we have a birthday party every week.

That was an accident. I had never expected it since I graduated from primary school. I made a small hall on a shoji screen in my room by accident. But no problem, we have a magically nice way to repair it. No body knows who started it first though very traditional, classical yet ecological. An accident gave me a tender gift of a cherry bloom out of the season in my room. :)
